Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry
Entry into this Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Competition Promotor
1. The Competition promoter is Kiwi Fuelcards (“Promoter”) who can be contacted about this Competition either at Private Bag 99918 Newmarket, Auckland 1149 by telephone on 0800 43 8383 or by email at [email protected]
Competition Period
You may enter the Competition from 01:00:00 am on 25/07/2022 until 11:59:59 pm on 31/08/2022 (“Competition Period”).
Contestant Eligibility
2. To be eligible to enter the Competition you must:
(a) comply with these Terms and Conditions;
(b) be 18 years or over;
(c) be a New Zealand resident;
(d) be the main contact in respect of a current Kiwi Fuelcards account; and
(e) not be excluded from eligibility by clause 3.
3. Employees and agents of the Promoter, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and their immediate families, are not eligible to participate. “Immediate families” means the husband, wife, spouse, parent, siblings, and children (including step parents, siblings and children).
How to Enter
4. To enter into the Competition you must, during the Competition Period, purchase 30 litres or more of Diesel or Unleaded fuel from Mobil fuel sites* in a single transaction using your Kiwi Fuelcards Mobil card. Each such transaction will result in one entry into the Competition.
*Mobil sites includes 170 Mobil branded service stations and 121 Mobil distributor sites such as Allied Petroleum, Waitomo Petroleum, and Nelson Petroleum. 5. Each valid entry received by the Promoter during the Competition Period will be eligible to win a prize.
The Prize
6. The prize available to be won is 1 of 50 Prezzee Smart eGift Cards each valued at NZ$100 each (“Prize”).
7. The conditions of use of the gift cards are available at prezzee.co.nz/doc/terms-of-sale/
8. Gift cards will have an expiry date of 24 months once received, to exchange for a retailer gift card of their choice. Once the new Retailer Gift Card(s) has been selected new expiry dates will be set and terms and conditions apply to the specific Retailer Gift Cards chosen. Prezzee Smart eGift Cards are not redeemable for cash and no refunds will be provided for Prezzee Smart eGift Cards (except as required by law).
9. eGiftCards will be emailed to winners at the email address provided to the Promoter by the account holder for the Kiwi Fuelcard
Conditions
10. If for any reason outside the Promoter’s reasonable control the Prize or any element of the Prize is no longer available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for something else of the same or similar value.
11. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Winning Entry
12. The Prize will be drawn on 12/09/2022 at NZST 17:00pm
13. The Prize winners will be selected by the Promoter making a random draw from among all valid and qualifying entries.
14. The Prize winner will be notified by email by 15/09/2022
15. If the Promoter is unable to contact the Prize winner using the contact details supplied on application for the relevant Kiwi Fuelcards account within 10 working days of the draw, the Prize will no longer be available to that Prize winner and a new Prize winner will be selected by the Promoter.
Publicity and Privacy
16. By entering into the Competition, you agree that if you are a Prize winner the Promoter may use your name and the information in your completed entry for its publicity and/or business purposes. The Promoter may also be required by law to disclose any of the information that you provide on your entry form.
17. Other than as permitted by clause 17, the Promoter will only make a disclosure of your personal information if it believes, in good faith, that it is required to do so by law and otherwise in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy available at kiwifuelcards.co.nz/privacy-policy/
General Terms
18. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Competition is final and binding on every person who enters, and no correspondence will be entered into.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a Prize, including where the qualifying transaction has been reversed or refunded, where false or misleading details have been given by a contestant or a contestant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
20. The Promoter also reserves the right to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a Prize where the contestant’s Kiwi Fuelcards account has been cancelled or suspended or is in arrears.
21. The Promoter and any other agencies associated with this Competition will not be responsible for any late, lost or misdirected entries, including but not limited to entries not received due to technical problems.
22. The Promoter and any other agencies associated with this promotion will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered or sustained, directly or indirectly, or for any personal injury suffered or sustained by any contestant or Prize winner, in connection with the Prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
23. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
